“Do not go where the path may lead; go instead where there is no path and leave a trail”- Ralph Waldo Emerson
On 12th February 2019, our school witnessed its Third Farewell Party hosted by the students of Class XI and dedicated to Class XII students of Atmiya Vidyapeeth.
The programme started at 12:00 noon by welcoming the Dignitaries and XII standard students towards selfie point along with some witty questions and rapid fire round for their amusement.
They were welcomed on Red Carpet followed by a Tilak ceremony. The day started with great excitement and merriment as all the Class XII students dressed up to their glamorous best.
To start off the festivities, a group of talented students sang their way onto the stage as the audience whooped and clapped. To add some fun, the students were also given specific titles based on their unique personality. Different tags were awarded to the students along with a special gift and a greeting card to wish them luck for their future.
After the felicitation of students, a funny dance was presented by Std XI to showcase the life of a student during their board classes. A skit based on togetherness and unity was presented by the students which had showcased their real talent.
Students of XI standard presented a slideshow of a medley of magical memories that marked the 14 years from nursery until now giving the students and their teachers a fascinating flashback of their journey. Loud cheers mixed with glassy eyes assimilated the odyssey.
It was then that XII Standard students felt the real pain of separation and grief washing over them. They felt desperate to hold on to these last few precious moments of togetherness and tears rolled down their cheeks.
Chairman Mr.Vinod Chavda and Managing Trustee Hemant Kachhadiya addressed the students and blessed them for their future. Principal Mr.Scaria Thomas blessed the students and asked them to have a goal in life to keep away from other distractions of life sharing his view that Perseverance and Hardworking always help to accomplish the dream. Educational Advisor Mrs.Tripti Nagar wished the students to fill their life with roses instead of thrones.
