Atmiya Vidyapeeth had the privilege of hosting the much-anticipated inter-school dance and drawing competition titled Brushes and Beats 2025–26 on 3rd May 2025. The event brought together talented students from various schools to celebrate creativity, expression, and artistic excellence.

The program commenced with the warm felicitation of the esteemed members of the school management Mr.Hemant Kachadiya, Ms.Maya Chavda, Dr.Purvi Chavda and Principal Ms.Sreevidya Byju followed by a grand welcome and honouring of the respected judges. The dance competition was judged by the renowned Sheenu Nayak, while the art competition was evaluated by distinguished artists Bhavna Khatri and Jhanvi Kothari.

A vibrant welcome dance set an energetic tone for the day, captivating the audience and creating a festive atmosphere. The competition began soon after, with participants grouped into three categories:

Category A: Grades 1 to 4

Category B: Grades 5 to 8

Category C: Grades 9 to 12

Each category witnessed enthusiastic participation and outstanding performances, showcasing a rich blend of creativity and talent in both dance and drawing segments.

A highlight of the event was the enthralling jugalbandi performed by dance teachers from various participating schools, which was followed by a mesmerizing solo performance by judge Sheenu Nayak, leaving the audience spellbound.

To keep the spirit high and the audience entertained, a musical house session was conducted, further enhancing the festive ambiance of the event.

The program concluded with the much-awaited announcement of results, celebrating the hard work and dedication of all participants. Prizes and certificates were awarded to the winners and deserving talents across all categories.

Brushes and Beats 2025–26 was truly a fun-filled and inspiring day where dance and art spoke louder than words. The event not only fostered healthy competition but also strengthened inter-school bonds through shared appreciation of the arts.The competitions were arranged by our Art Faculty Mr.Rahee Donga and Dance Faculties Mr.Dinesh Gor , Ms. Harshda Patel and Ms.Radhika Padiyar .The whole event was managed and coordinated by CCA Coordinator Ms.Divyani Gosai

FIELD TRIP FOR ALL CLASSES FROM GRADE 1 TO 12

"From Textbooks to Real Talk – A Day of Discovery!"

 

Atmiya Vidyapeeth organized a field trip for all classes from Grade 1 to 12. The toddlers of Grades 1 and 2 visited the railway station, where they learned about its operations and facilities through direct observation. Students from Grades 3 to 8 explored modern natural farming practices at Ashapura Agrotech Farms, bringing to life the concepts they had only read about in books. Grades 9 and 10 experienced the excitement of a visit to Oswal Polyfilms Ltd., Varsana. Commerce and Humanities students of Grades 11 and 12 gained experiential learning at Oswal Extrusion Limited. Finally, the Science students of Grades 11 and 12 visited Galentic Pharma India Pvt. Ltd., KASEZ, where they were exposed to various aspects of drug development, manufacturing, and andquality control.

 

 

 

"Dance like no one's watching you."

Today on International Dance Day , a special assembly was conducted for the students in Atmiya Vidyapeeth. A workshop was held by Atmiya Vidyapeeth's talented and versatile Dance Teachers- Mr. Dinesh Gor, Ms. Radhika Tank and Ms. Harshda Patel.

The teachers took turns to present Bollywood, Semi Classical, Classical, Hip- Hop, Bhagra and Garba.  The students along with other teachers grooved on and followed the beats of music and steps of our dance teachers.

The assembly was filled with merriment.

Unique and Enriching House Activity at Atmiya Vidyapeeth

19.04.25 (Saturday)  

A unique and enriching house activity was conducted at Atmiya Vidyapeeth on 19th April 2025 (Saturday), featuring Charades for Grades III to V, Conclave for Grades VI to VIII, and Ted Talk for Grades IX and XI.

Students from all four houses — Aranya, Neerja, Sagarika, and Vasundhara — participated with great enthusiasm and team spirit. The event witnessed healthy competition, with students cheering each other on and supporting their teammates, promoting a strong sense of teamwork and sportsmanship.

NATIONAL FIRE SERVICE DAY

National Fire Service Day is observed every year on April 14 to commemorate the heroic firefighters who lost their lives during the tragic Bombay Dock Explosion of 1944.

To pay tribute to these brave heroes, a Fire Mock Drill was conducted for students of Grades VI to VIII on 18th April 2025 at Atmiya Vidyapeeth by Gandhidham’s Firefighter Officers and their team.

Detailed information was provided to students, teachers, and bus drivers about the various causes of fire and the different methods used to extinguish it.

The use of tools such as fire hoses and fire extinguishers was demonstrated. Teachers, students, and bus drivers had an excellent hands-on experience by actively participating in the mock drill. The firefighting team taught them how to manage and extinguish fires during emergency situations.

The officers also performed a jaw-dropping water spray demonstration using fire hoses at different speeds and distances, which left everyone amazed.

The entire drill was conducted with utmost care and safety in the open ground of Atmiya Vidyapeeth. An ambulance was also arranged on-site for medical safety purposes.

Atmiya Vidyapeeth feels immensely proud and salutes all the firefighters who selflessly risk their lives to perform such extremely dangerous tasks in the service of others.

 

 SR. KG CONVOCATION CEREMONY

Celebrating Young Achievers at Atmiya Vidyapeeth

Atmiya Vidyapeeth celebrated the Sr. KG Convocation Ceremony with great joy and pride. Our little graduates were felicitated with love and encouragement as they marked the completion of their early learning journey.

The celebration was made even more special with delightful performances by the children, including a vibrant dance, an engaging skit, and a heartwarming mime. Their innocence, confidence, and creativity left the audience in awe.

It was a proud and emotional moment for parents and teachers, witnessing the tiny tots take their first step toward a bright future.

 

Fun-Filled Day of Art-Making and Appreciation!

To promote creativity, artistic expression, and appreciation for art in all its forms, World Art Day was celebrated as a class activity at Atmiya Vidyapeeth on 12.04.25 (Saturday) for Grades I to IX.

Students participated enthusiastically and were given the opportunity to explore their creativity and express themselves through art.

 

 

 

“EMPOWERING HEALTH, ENRICHING LIFE”

 An engaging and fun-filled event, "PLAY FOR A PURPOSE (HOUSIE)," was organized on World Health Day, April 7th, 2025, by all the Science teachers of Classes VI to X for an entertaining and educational experience.

 To promote awareness about healthy habits and wellness among students, healthy words (e.g., exercise, nutrition, sleep, hygiene, etc.) were written in the form of a grid on the Housie tickets instead of numbers.

 

 

 The teacher randomly called out these healthy words, and students marked the corresponding ones on their tickets with great enthusiasm. They thoroughly enjoyed the activity while learning valuable health concepts. Winners for Quick Five, each row, and Full House were awarded prizes, adding excitement to the event.

 

 

 

 

"WORLD HEALTH DAY CELEBRATION:

"EMPOWERING  CHILDREN THROUGH HEALTH EDUCATION" . A VISIT TO REMEMBER FOR A LIFETIME.

 

To commemorate World Health Day, students from Class VI to VIII of the Science Club visited the Jeevan Prabhat Orphanage in Sector 7, Gandhidham, accompanied by Science Club head Ms. Sudipta Devnath and Deputy head Ms. Jyoti Jetwani.

 The visit aimed to educate the children about the importance of personal hygiene, a balanced diet, and mental well-being.

 The students from Class 6 to 8 conducted various interactive activities, including an awareness speech, a presentation on the food pyramid, a discussion on the importance of yoga, and a Zumba session.

 

 

 

 

GOLD MEDALISTS OF MATHS OLYMPIAD

The great minds of Atmiya Vidyapeeth as well as the GOLD MEDALISTS of MATHS OLYMPIAD (IMO session 2024-25) from grades I to X were felicitated today.

The IMO incharge Ms. Aashika P. was also felicitated for her contribution and guidance in IMO.

 

 

 

 

The first day of Atmiya Vidyapeeth marked only the fun and laughter; the joy and curiosity; and Art and Knowledge.

The activities conducted by the teachers for the students left the students with unforgettable memories of their first day of school.

BLESSING CEREMONY

The Blessing Ceremony for the 10th standard students of Atmiya Vidyapeeth was held on 29/1/2025 with great enthusiasm and zeal.The event began with a Havan, invoking divine blessings for student’s success in their board exams. Teachers offered words of encouragement, followed by students taking a pledge for hard work and dedication.

The ceremony concluded with cultural performances, including songs, dances, and inspiring speeches, creating a joyful and motivating atmosphere. A vote of thanks marked the end of the event, leaving students confident and inspired for their exams.

 

 

CELEBRATE BASANT PANCHAMI

 Atmiya Vidyapeeth had organised a divine pooja as a tribute to Saraswati Maa to celebrate Basant Panchami on 01.02.2025 (Saturday) . All the teachers were blossomed with yellow colour dress to welcome the Spring season. All the staff and teachers along with beloved students offered Pooja to seek blessings of Maa Saraswati. A special assembly was organised by Class I , the students dressed up as Maa Saraswati and recited shlok in different languages.

ATMIYAS ANNUAL SPORTS MEET 1.0 ON OLYMPIC DREAMS

The Atmiyas Annual Sports Meet 1.0 on Olympic Dreams was held on December 21, 2024, at the lawn ground of Hotel Ramada, Shinay marking a successful culmination of both sports and cultural events. The event brought together students, faculty, and distinguished guests for an extraordinary celebration of talent, discipline, and teamwork.

 The day kicked off with the lighting of the ceremonial torch and a parade that included participants from various departments. The sports events included a variety of competitive activities, each game was given unique names which fascinated the spectators, with students displaying remarkable sportsmanship and skill in track and field in team sports. The highlight of the event was the intense relay race, followed by thrilling finals in Kabbadi and Tug of war.

 Apart from sports, the cultural programs added a vibrant touch to the day. The students took the ground with various performances, including bizarre dances presentations, which were met with great applause. The dance performances, in particular, were enthusiastic, showcasing exceptional choreography, costumes and creativity, adding to the festive spirit of the event.

 The prize distribution ceremony was one of the most awaited moments of the day, where the top-performing athletes were recognized for their excellence. Awards were presented to the toppers of previous academic year 2023-24 and Best Atmiyan of the current year 2024-25 -special recognitions for the best students of the year.

 The event was graced by prominent personalities, including the Chief Guest, Mr.Raj Kumar , PMG, Commandant, BSF, who delivered an inspiring speech emphasizing the importance of discipline, teamwork, and resilience in achieving one's dreams, drawing parallels with the Olympic spirit. The Mr.Abhijeet Abhyankar, Commanding Officer of the Navy was the Guest of Honour, offering words of encouragement to the students, particularly in the areas of physical fitness and mental toughness.

 Our Honorable managing Trustees Mr. Hemant Kachhadiya, Mrs Maya Chavda, Mrs, Angeera Kachhadiya, Dr. Purvi Chavda graced the occasion whole day and appreciated the team. Our trustee member Mrs Manju Bhadra with a number of invited guests Mrs Jaspal Kaur, Mr.Kalpesh Bhadra, including alumni and parents, were present to witness the spectacular show.

 Our event coordinator Mrs. Divyani Gosai was appreciated for her thriving coordination of the events. The atmosphere was charged with energy, and the audience cheered on the participants, making the event even more memorable.

GK (General Knowledge) Yoga Activity by Grade 5  was conducted by Kavita Ketha Mam.

Students enthusiastically performed different Asanas and postures alongwith learning the importance and benefits of Yoga.

 

 

Interhouse Group Singing Competition

Interhouse Group Singing Competition was held for classes I to XII in Atmiya Vidyapeeth on 05.08.2024 ( Monday). There were two categories - Classes I to V and VI to XII on theme 'Friendship Day' in both English and Hindi languages as Fusion.Atmiyans Gracefully and Melodiously participated by beautifully presenting how important the Friendship is through Singing. There was Special Performance by Our Respected Judges Maya Chavda Mam and Vaibhav Thacker Sir which made the Ambience more pleasant.
